DESCRIPTION:
Newcomb College American Arts & Crafts matte glaze pottery vase.  This was potted by Joseph Meyer and decorated by Sarah Irvine in 1919.  It is decorated with incised berries and leaves, perhaps grapes.

CONDITION:
In very good to excellent original
condition free from chips, cracks, damages and repairs.  Just for the record, this has typical faint all over
clean crazing that can only be detected under close scrutiny using a bright light.
All hand glazed Newcomb pottery may have typical and expected glazing
color and thickness variations, specs, stilt marks, drips, and/or other
acceptable factory original natural imperfections.
MEASUREMENTS:
Approximate maximum height is 6 3/4 inches
and about 2 ¼ inches diameter at the top rim.  The maximum circumference is about 4 1/4 inches.
