Japanese Figurine Colorful Man Carrying Two Buckets on Pole, 1950s

This is a Japanese figurine of a man carrying a pole with
two buckets.  It dates to the 1950s.  The man is colorfully dressed with a long
pole across his shoulder that holds a wooden bucket with a lid at either end of
the pole.  The figurine also has a detached
water scoop.  Made of celluloid or a hard,
plastic composite material.
The figurine is in excellent condition.  Please see the photos for details.
